NIGHT WALTZ - IZZUL SYAFIQ MAZLAN & SUHAILA ASMADI
In the night, I see streetlights
Softly fading, gently traveling
In the night
.
In my head, I see you
Whispering love, and less infatuation
In my head
.
Though the cold night air can take me away
Still the fraction of your voice made us stay
.
In the night, in my head
All the shadows waltzing and taunting and,
In the dark, between the tears
Questions hovering over my fears
.
Between these walls,
I am struggling, battling and fighting this war
Slower down, I’m starting to drown
Between these walls
.
Though the cold night air can take me away
Still the fraction of your voice made us stay
.
In the night, in my head
All the shadows waltzing and taunting and,
In the dark, between the tears
Questions hovering over my fears

Song and lyrics by Izzul Syafiq Mazlan and Suhaila Asmadi. Lonely nights and intruded minds have led us to this. Here’s Night Waltz and thanks for listening!
Another hit by my lil brother, Izzul Syafiq Mazlan
Something that I wrote a long time ago. This is Weaker.

Everything for you was easy
Take back simple things from the start
If only I can put you straight from what had happened
Feel my pain and grab my heart
Things you’ve said were never true
Shattered my eyes and lingered my feet
In disguise you vain that things would be for me
With sharp strong thorns that scarred my veins
Though you punctured poison deeply
Though you killed me with your words
Felt so weak and fatigue on my own
Felt so weak, weaker and weaker
I just want to stop everything. Stop the fight and let’s get on to the flow. Here’s Stop This Fight, lyrics are all written by Sheril Bustaman.
STOP THIS FIGHT
You look away
I wonder if there’s anything more to say
I can’t help but feel defeated
And wonder how the argument got so heated
.
You go to bed
I lie awake instead
Thinking about all the things I should’ve said
That never left my head
.
Sometimes I’m wrong
Sometimes I’m right
The pain is too strong
And my heart aches tonight
I don’t want to win
I’ll throw away my pride
I’ll do anything you ask
Just stop this fight
.
Take my hand now
Take just one little step
This love isn’t perfect
But honey - it’s worth it
.
There are no more defences
No troops on the front line
Forgive me for my offences
I want us to be fine

Just A Dream
Last night I had visions about you
We were talking for hours beside the beach
I held your hands and kiss you on the cheek
and your smile lingered to the deep
.
Pretty stars were shining in the sky
You counted and asked if we could fly
Well I said honey we’ll fly there together
And live our life up there until forever
.
I wish this was all reality
To have you as my baby eternally
And share this place forever for you and me
Sadly these were all just a dream
.
Last night I had visions about you
We were walking for days along the road
I took your head and grabbed you in my arms
And your laughs echoed to your charms

P/S: People, you don’t have to expect much from my music. I’m just an ordinary guy who makes music with my own instinct and talent. I’ve never had any specific music classes nor having any music background along my life. At least I’m brave enough to show what I got here. You don’t have to give any comments, like seriously. All I need is for you to listen, not to say a word. I make music because it’s my passion and I’m still in the phase of learning. Sometimes, I just understand that people just like to talk and will always talk. Enjoy the song.
The first moment when I had a thought of making this song, I laughed alone on my bed. I felt it even funnier when I got no words crossing on my brain, instead of freezing it with the ice cream I was eating. Okay it doesn’t make any sense - I know. But my second thought came and gave a me a question on my head; why shouldn’t I give it a try first and just see how it goes? I started my chords with C, Cm7 and C7 and finally came up with the rest of them. For all my years of living, my Eid day has always been plain for me since the day my dad passed away. I’ve always been awkward whenever it comes to celebrating the Eid day and honestly, I’ve never felt like having the true one before. Eid day has always been about eating, shopping and money from relatives for me, nothing more. But I bet most of you have always had the best Eid in your life from year to year; no doubt on that. Anyway, enjoy this song and I’m not gonna make any Eid wishes here. That’ll be on my next post about my Eid day, and yes, I’ll be writing myself back. Enjoy the song!
The Eid Day
I wonder how I got this far
Thirty days seem to be fast
The moon has done its phase well
And the hunger we’re all been blessed
The Eid day has come right in front of you
.
This lonely morning tickles my veins
Drops of tears come running through my streams
Oh mom i’m sorry for what I’ve done
Oh daddy please forgive me through the right
This morning I shall set my life to new
.
I miss the times
I miss the days
The days when all of us sat on a place
I miss the walks
I miss the rain
The rain that made me look how things are made
On the Eid day

I was given a lyric via e-mail from one of the most unpredictable people I’ve ever met in my life. She mailed me the lyric and asked me if I could make a song from the lyric that she made all by herself. When I first had the lyric on my eyes, I had the urge to say that this girl can really write songs for people. It’s either she’s incredibly enthusiastic with the words formed mixed with her current emotion at that time or she’s exactly talented in writing songs, I don’t really mind about that; as long as the piece is unique and lyrical. Here’s my new song - lyrics by Bella Zahir and music by Izzul Syafiq Mazlan.
NOW IT’S OVER
You said that it’s forever,
I don’t know why forever seems so quick.
The river still flows, the stars still glow,
Yet why do we have to end this?
.
Now it’s over,
I’m sleeping alone with just your ring.
Now it’s over,
The queen is sitting alone there’s no king.
Now it’s over,
There’s nothing left for me to sing.
There’s nothing left, now it’s over.
.
Trust me when I say I still believe in us,
Someday, somewhere, eventually.
It’s the lust, it’s the trust, you turned it all to just a dust.
You showed me who you really are finally.
.
I still wanna share the same bed,
I still wanna share the same plate,
Darling, I swear I still wanna do this.
.
Lyrics: Bella Zahir
Music: Izzul Syafiq Mazlan
*Somehow I feel the same as how the song feels, probably.*
I’ve never been friendly in my posts so, I’ll just go with my main point here. Sorry, I don’t have any introduction for this. (Being friendly in your blog sounds so cliche to me at times)
So I guess, this is my first attempt in making Malay songs as my collection. Actually, I have started making this song early this year and finished making it on the same week. Besides, I was thinking about posting it here in Tumblr as usual but I felt like my words in Bahasa might sound cheesy for some of you, because honestly, I suck in forming Malay words to make it sound beautiful to people. It’s not that I’m underestimating Bahasa or what but it’s my own fault for not having to read many Malay books as much as I could before making this song. But overall, this is my final achievement in making this song and I hope you guys like it.
Mendung Kelabu, by Izzul Syafiq Mazlan.
Senyumanmu, liriknya menyentuhku,
Halus mengusap rindu,
Kau menjadikan aku resah dalam tidurku.
.
Hatimu bagai sebuah mimpi
Bergelut mencariku
Haruman di rambutmu itu merasuk diriku
.
Awan mendung kelabu
.
Ku berlari, ku mencari di celah
Halaman rinduanku
Lajuku buka pintu hati mu
Kau ke mari, ke mari
.
Awan mendung kelabu
.
Segala mimpi akan pasti
Hanya satu pintaku
Jangan kau pergi
You see, cheesy kan? Okay, don’t laugh.
So I spend my whole life hiding my heart away. Here’s to my future soul mate, whom I have never met until now - yet.
And here’s our cover of the amazing Jessie J’s Price Tag. We recorded this in the Angsana Hall at Intec, Shah Alam. Sweet Gloria played the piano *she was sick, awwhh :’) Me and the talented Izzul Syafiq on vocals :) Enjoyyy.
I’ve never failed to enjoy singing with this friend of mine, Tengku Suhaila. She’s been singing with me most of the time during foundation and her sweet voice has never failed to give me goosebumps! We did a lot of catchy and breathtaking covers during this time. Overall, it has always been fun singing with you, Sue!
Anyway, enjoy the cover of Price Tag from us!
No description. Here’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
This is a cover of Sarah McLachlan’s Angel. Sorry, it’s shorter than the usual. So enjoy!
This is my cover of Zee Avi’s song, Honey Bee. The song doesn’t actually resemble anything to my life but with the fact that I strongly love this Malaysian singer, I decided to cover this song. So, here’s the cover of Honey Bee.
I am a honey bee
Shunned off from the colony
And they won’t let me in
So I left the hive
They took away all my stripes
And broke off both my wings
So I’ll find another tree
And make the wind my friend
I’ll just sing with the birds
They’ll tell me secrets off the worldBut my other honey bee
Stuck where he doesn’t wanna be
Oh my darling honey bee
I’ll come save you
Even if it means I’ll have to face the queen
So I’ll come prepared
My new friends say they would help me
Get my loved one back
They say it isn’t right
The bees have control of your mind
But I choose not to believe that
So we’ll meet in the darkness of the night
And I’ll promise I will be there on time
We’ll be guided by my new friends the butterflies
Bring us back to our own little hive
Oh my other honey bee
No longer stuck where he doesn’t wanna be
Oh my darling honey bee
I have saved you
And now that you’re with me
We can make our own honey
This is a song of motivation and the song of spirit towards ourselves. Here’s Piece of Glass by Izzul Syafiq Mazlan.

Lyrics: Izzul Syafiq Mazlan
Don’t you worry about your problems?
All you have to do is stay
People might say bad about you
Cast it far and far away
I see black and see things in blue
Don’t you worry cause it’s true
Love all of them and you’ll be good
Maybe someday they’ll love you
And oh, please don’t just stay
Tell them that you’re not weak to say
Live your life to the fullest
Till everything you can prove them
And not to say that you are
Not so weak and fragile, not so weak and fragile
Like a shiny piece of glass
Obstacles and all challenges
Take it as fun thing too
See how colours combine into
Rainbows formed in front of you
Making my way to somewhere sweet
Escaping my life from all the incompletes
Trying to figure out something that is so deep in me
Imagine a dot on a white piece of paper
Don’t let everything jeopardizes your life
There is always a getaway for every matter that happens in your life
Sing your life
Let it go, let it go pass you by
And you have to cope with it
Fly away, fly above the open skies
Leaving all the stuffs without a bad dream
